Last week I started knitting a raglan top-down sweater for Baby M. Her birthday is coming up and she asked me to knit her something. I plan on doing some white stripes on the sleeves and maybe pink hearts on the elbows. I am using Bernat Softee Baby in gray. I like this yarn because it's inexpensive, can be machine washed and dried, and it's very soft.

I have the body done and I'm going to start on the sleeves tonight. I am going to knit the sleeves flat and use an exposed seam in a contrasting color. I have a store bought sweater with contrasting exposed seams and I love the way it looks! I can't wait to finish this sweet little sweater and wrap it up for my little one to open!

I am not using a pattern for this, I took some measurements, did a little bit of math and cast on. I divided up my stitches and got to work! I'll post the finished sweater when I'm done with it. I can't believe in 10 days my baby will be 3!
